Walt Disney World. A place that automatically brings thoughts of Cinderella’s Castle with fireworks exploding above.

I’ve spent a large amount of time learning about the many resort hotels, the restaurants, the recreation, and of course the parks themselves. Especially since they are all constantly changing! Disney is known for creating memories and making dreams come true. The memories those trips have created will be with me forever.

Minnesota is my home and I’ve enjoyed helping plan Disney vacations for families here in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul since I started in this business over 30 years ago. Over the years that has expanded to include families all over the United States.

A Walt Disney World vacation is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Are you traveling with a large multi-generational group with an age range of 5 to 75? For first timers, it’s my job to help you to navigate through the overwhelming amount of information that can be found on the internet. The service and quality of the Disney theme parks and resorts can be found at sea as well! Disney Cruise Line has been taking families to the warm Caribbean waters since 1988. With beautiful ships designed in the classic ocean liner style, Disney Cruise Line is the leader in family cruising. Customer satisfaction in dining, staterooms, shore excursions, entertainment, and overall service has kept Disney consistently at the top of the charts.

Schedules for two of Disney ships can vary from season to season. In the summer, the Disney Magic can most often be found in the Mediterranean visiting Spain, Italy, and France. Her sister ship, the Disney Wonder, is sailing through the glacial waters of Alaska to ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway. Both ships sail to the Caribbean in the winter to join their little sisters, the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy taking guests to warm weather destinations such as Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico, and the Virgin Islands.

A Caribbean cruise with Disney will always take you to the beach paradise of Disney’s Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. One side of the island is designed for family fun complete with a snorkeling lagoon, bicycle rentals, volleyball, and plenty of beach chairs for everyone. For adults 18 and over, there is Serenity Bay, the adults-only beach on the other side of the island, just a short tram ride away. A place of relaxation and bliss. Including massage cabanas for those who have always wanted to have a massage on the beach.

Back on the ships, you’ll find world class entertainment for the whole family. The incredible shows will have you thinking you’re at a Broadway production in New York instead of sailing through the Caribbean! Delicious food is always available whether it be pizza at the pool deck or filet mignon in one of the dining rooms. You will never go hungry! Kids will have a fantastic time in the two family pools. While most cruise lines offer a gambling, Disney has decided to forgo a casino and devote that space to children. Each ship offers areas for specifically for teens, tweens, kids, and even babies. Adults have their own little piece of heaven with an adult-only pool and full-service spa.

Itineraries range from 3-days to 10-days. You can generally book at least a year in advance which is highly recommended to get the very best cruise pricing. I can help you find the best itinerary, ship, and stateroom that will let your dreams set sail!

My clients often ask me for recommendations on which port adventures they should take when sailing Disney Cruise Line. Now I wish I could say that I’ve done ALL of them…could you just imagine?? But alas, I cannot sail with Disney all year long in an effort to have personal knowledge of every amazing destination that they offer. But a girl can dream! And a girl can certainly take some time to document the excursions she has taken as well as other fun experiences she has had onboard.
