Tackling Disney With a Toddler!

Chef Mickey's
Chef Mickey's

Do you remember your first trip to Disney as a child? What do you recall? Your favorite characters? The castle? All the magical sights and sounds? I am sure that you don't even remember the wait times, being tired or overheated in the Florida weather! The good news is your kiddos won't recall these stressful moments either.

Taking a toddler to Walt Disney World or Disneyland can be daunting but it doesn't have to be! There are many ways in which everyone can enjoy their trip and make memories that will last a lifetime! Although your little one may not remember the trip in as much detail as an older child may, as a parent or grandparent you will get to see that "one little spark" and magic in their eyes that you can only experience at Disney for such a short period of time. The memories that you make at this age are priceless.

Disney was created with families in mind. Utilizing my knowledge, I will help you to take advantage of some of these built in perks that are available within Disney property that you may not be aware of. Some examples are using family care centers, stroller rentals, Disney transportation, areas in the parks to "get the wiggle out", navigating the parks with children with disabilities and using the Disney DAS system.

Toddlers are notoriously picky eaters, sadly Disney does not have a cure for this! Disney does offer many dining options for a variety of different tastes. However, at times there can be too many choices! I can assist you and your family in finding an option that fits everybody's taste buds, favorite Disney characters or theming. As well as discussing character dining options. I can assist in scheduling dining reservations and often suggest that they are made during the hottest part of the day to take advantage of the air conditioning!

A suggestion that I highly advise is for families traveling with a toddler, is to approach the parks with a strategy in mind. By creating this plan with me we will look at early entry hours, extended evening hours, after-hour events and virtual queues. Exploring if Genie plus is a service that would make sense for you and your family. As well as understanding what attractions may be too intense for your little ones, even if they meet the height requirements. By approaching that parks in this way, it takes some of the pressure off your shoulders and allows you to be in the moment and enjoy your time.

If you are visiting the parks for the "first time in forever", if you are a frequent guest, or fondly revisiting Disney as an adult, I am here to help you. My expertise will help add some pixie dust to your trip to make it truly memorable while avoiding unnecessary stress. Please "be my guest" as I partner with you to plan an unforgettably magical trip!
