Walt Disney World. A place that automatically brings thoughts of Cinderella’s Castle with fireworks exploding above.

I’ve spent a large amount of time learning about the many resort hotels, the restaurants, the recreation, and of course the parks themselves. Especially since they are all constantly changing! Disney is known for creating memories and making dreams come true. The memories those trips have created will be with me forever.

Minnesota is my home and I’ve enjoyed helping plan Disney vacations for families here in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul since I started in this business over 30 years ago. Over the years that has expanded to include families all over the United States.

A Walt Disney World vacation is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Are you traveling with a large multi-generational group with an age range of 5 to 75? Are you traveling with friends and looking for an “Adult Disney” experience? Are you a family of four, taking your children to Walt Disney World for the first time?

For first timers, it’s my job to help you to navigate through the overwhelming amount of information that can be found on the internet. Your friends and relatives have all sorts of advice for you based on their own vacations. But this isn’t their vacation, it’s yours! I can simplify the entire process by narrowing down the Walt Disney World vacation that’s best for your family based on your budget as well as the desires of your family to create magical memories.

Disney Genie+

Disney has introduced a new system within the Disneyland app to help plan your day in a way that is completely catered to you and your family.  This system is called Disney Genie.  Click on "Get Started" and Disney Genie will ask you some simple questions about what you hope to accomplish for each park and then make suggestions based on those answers.  This can be done in advance of your vacation or during your trip. Upon your arrival at the Disney Parks, Disney Genie will create a suggested itinerary for you based on current attraction wait times and show times. Disney Genie is a complimentary service. With this option, you will visit each attraction by waiting in the "Standby Line". 

You can take Disney Genie to the next level by purchasing Disney Genie+. Disney Genie+ allows you to bypass the "Standby Line" queue by using the "Lightning Lane". You'll be able to make better use of your day by spending less time standing in lines for the attractions. Disney Genie+ may be included in your vacation package so please refer to your Travel Leaders invoice. There is no limit on how many times you can use the Lightning Lanes for the various attractions. But you can only book one attraction at a time and only once per attraction.  This service will NOT sell out.

 The most popular attractions in the Disney Parks can also be booked as an "Individual Lightning Lane" You can purchase individual selections for up to 2 different attractions per day upon entering a theme park. You are essentially paying a little more money to join the Lightning Lane for these top attractions. Pricing for individual purchase of Lightning Lane entrance arrival windows will vary by date and attraction, and purchase is subject to limited availability. You are only allotted a maximum of 2 attractions from this category per person, per day and this service can sell out. You do not have to have Disney Genie+ in order to book an Individual Lightning Lane but these two options can be combined to make the most of your time.

Of course, the Standby Line does exist for all attractions and shows on property, so if you don't feeling like paying extra, you always have the option to wait in that line.
